What a ‘mare
Mayor came to dinner. Quite scary.
He’s extremely nice, as is his wife Veronique and the lovely Pauline, his daughter. I’m not sure they liked the grub or the booze, but they seemed to laugh a lot. It’s thanks to them that we’re on this bonkers adventure after all.
It reminded me of going to Miss Lancaster’s for lunch; my headmistress in 1985.
Miss Lancaster’s for lunch??? When? Not sure I ever got the invite, although I wasn’t a prefect and Head of House of course!!
