Cissi is Hosy’s best school friend. Cissi and her family spend a lot of time in Wales. Which is good; it prepared them for their weekend.
It rained so much while they were here that Lourdes had to be closed for almost the first time ever, the Tour de France was under threat, the handball tournament that Rexy had practised for weeks for was cancelled, and the village car boot sale was postponed. It was biblical.
We cooked, played games, went to the market, played a lot of Wii and rainwatched. And watched the kids’ Dad’s Poirot on Sky.
Oh well.
